Union: Russia can sell 1 mln tns of grain to China in 2022–2023
MOSCOW, Feb 8 (PRIME) -- Russia can ship at least 1 million tonnes of grain to China in 2022–2023, Director of the Russian Union of Grain Exporters Eduard Zernin said on Tuesday.
"I think that this season we will see test supplies amounting to one or two ships, while large-scale supplies may start in the 2022–2023 season, where we can expect at least 1 million tonnes with a prospect of a significant raise, as trade relations develop," he said.
Protocols allowing all Russian regions to export wheat and barley to China were signed on February 4 during a visit of President Vladimir Putin to China.
